Primary Bedroom - Transitional Renovation- Design/Build 300 SF
    

This residence is a house in stages of phased renovations. Using the private residence as a lab for ongoing design ideas and projects, we targeted the bedroom with a design-build collaboration to give new life to a new couple. The walls and doors are VOC-free painted,cut, and furred out wood panels with purposeful reveals. The two exterior walls are white, while the interior wall zone, doors, and feature wall behind the bed is painted custom gray dark, additionally upholstered for parental privacy with sound absorbing pure 1/8” thick wool felt in graphite. We’ve included floating walnut end tables and adjustable lighting fixtures to anchor and frame the bed, recessed within the panel reveals. LED lighting is recessed above and below the wood panels for atmospheric mood and night lighting.
